The clavichord is a copy of the original instrument in the Fine Arts Museum in Boston. The inlay work of the front board is copied from the Johann Christoph Georg Schiedmayer clavichord from 1792. The instrument is made in oak and has a five octave range FF-f3. It is unfretted. There is an additional row of pins on the hitch pin block and a damper rail.
